Mallam Nasir El Rufai is exhibiting some dictatorial tendencies; He should leave Shehu Musa alone

Mallam Nasir El Rufai seems to be exhibiting some dictatorial tendencies. One of the key instruments that oils the wheel of democracy is constructive criticism. Shehu Musa who is a Chieftain of APC hails from Kaduna State the same state with El-Rufai but he seems to be vocifeous against the administration of Governor El-Rufai.

El-Rufai isn't a political neophyte in our political practicum, he earned a reputation as the FCT demolition master when he administered FCT during the era of Obasanjo. Ever since he has been active in party politics reputed for throwing mud at PDP members especially the erstwhile Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan.

Today El-Rufai is the Governor of Kaduna State but he seems to hate his former stock in trade now that he is an executive Governor. Senator Shehu Musa has been a torn in his flesh consequently he engineered his suspension from Tudun Wada ward of the All Progressives Congress in Kaduna State over allegations of committing anti-party activities and criticizing Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai's government.

The pertinent question I want to ask is this? Should a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic be suspended just for criticizing Nasir El-Rufai? The answer is obvious. The National leadership of the APC must intervene in this matter and call the Kaduna APC and Goveernor El-Rufai to order. El-Rufai must ne reminded that we are not in a military junta; he must know that he was put into office not just to govern but to be criticized when he derails.
