The Controversy Surrounding Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo's Tatoo - Nnamdi Abana
Tattoos also trended on social media.
Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo got a new tattoo and tongues began to wag. Nigerians said all manner of things.
Being a Christian and being religious are not the same. The Children of Israel were prohibited from getting tattoos on their bodies; however, we are living in the New Testament.
Scripture informs us that the law and its ordinances have been abolished. And mind you there is a difference between the New Testament and the New Testament section of the Bible.
The New Testament began after the resurrection of Jesus.
Now, there is no place in the New Testament where Christians were told not to have tattoos.
If the Bible were silent on it, then leave it silent and don't condemn anyone who gets a tattoo.
If you're a Christian and you don't like tattoos, don't have it after all, Paul said all things are lawful but not all things are expedient.
So, don't condemn anyone who decides to get a tattoo.
